The project focuses on the innovation of education at secondary nursing schools (SZŠ) by introducing modern forms of learning and by showing the students what they can expect after the school-leaving exam when they get into the real wards of individual healthcare facilities.

Students will be brought closer to real practice for example by field trips to specialized centres or by practical training carried out directly at the wards of FNUSA. Apart from that, a course of English for nurses including a practical coursebook of vocabulary and phrases related to health care is prepared for students. Teaching models, wall pictures, foreign teaching material, textbooks and a film will contribute to improving teaching directly at partner schools. Pupils participating in the work on student projects and in a one-week practical training will get into closer contact with professional.

The additional activities of the project are focused on extending expert knowledge of teachers from partner schools. The project is partnered by five secondary nursing schools.

The project is financed from the European Social Fund and from the state budget of the Czech Republic under the Education for Competitiveness Operational Program.
