The project pursues to develop expert knowledge and abilities of research workers in the cardiological teams of International Clinical Research Center (FNUSA–ICRC) and of postgraduate and pregraduate students by means of their integration into international clinical teams in the form of fellowships at top foreign institutions.

Thanks to the project, its participants will be able to transfer valuable know-how from foreign research centres into FNUSA–ICRC, and thanks to knowledge and experience obtained they will be able to carry out research at a higher level. The trainees will also have an opportunity to establish important work contacts, which they will subsequently use for their further cooperation in international research projects.

International cooperation and know-how transfer will also be supported by means of videoconferencing broadcasts of expert lectures from the Mayo Clinic as well as by visits of foreign experts directly at FNUSA-ICRC.

The project is financed from the European Social Fund and from the state budget of the Czech Republic under the Education for Competitiveness Operational Program.
